This project is a type animation based on Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, focusing on translating the song’s rhythm, mood, and lyrical tone into motion. Using only typography, the animation explores how text can interact with sound through timing, pacing, and contrast. Sharp glitch effects, abrupt transitions, and flickering movements reflect the track’s dark, playful energy, while shifts in tempo are emphasized through distortion and fading text.
By removing imagery, typography becomes the primary storytelling element—capturing the song’s attitude through motion and structure..
